Obituary

Andrea Davis

April 14, 1948 – August 29, 2026

Andrea Davis, 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 29, 2026, in Port Richey, Florida.

Born on April 14, 1948, in Washington, D.C., to Andrew and Dorothy Davis, Andrea grew up in Maryland alongside her four sisters. Family was an important part of her life, and she shared many years of memories, laughter, and love with those closest to her.

Andrea had a lifelong love of the beach, and one of her greatest dreams was to someday make Florida her home. She found happiness walking along the shore, collecting seashells, and using her finds to create beautiful pieces of art. She also had a love for jewelry and an appreciation for the little things that brought beauty and joy into everyday life.

A devout Catholic and faithful follower of Christ, Andrea’s faith remained an important foundation throughout her life. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now at peace with her Heavenly Father.

Andrea will also be remembered for her wonderful laugh, her funny sense of humor, and her ability to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. And when it came to sweets—especially chocolate—she was rarely one to say no.

Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Dorothy Davis.

Andrea is survived by her children, Lisa Danielle Keeper and Stephen Andrew Keeper (Shannon); her sisters, Suzy Swagart, Laurie Potter, Patty Gallagher (Jay), and Leslie Blackwell (John); and her 11 nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered with love, laughter, and every seashell found along the shore.

A Mass will be held Friday, October 30th at 11am at Our Lady of Grace Church in Silver Spring, MD (15663 Norbeck Blvd. Silver Spring, MD 20906)

Immediately following the Mass, the burial will be at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD (13801 Georgia Ave. Silver Spring, MD 20906)
