Andrea Monika Der, 57, born in Szeged Hungary peacefully passed surrounded by her family on February 9th, 2026. Andrea was truly a one of a kind individual. Many would say she was incredibly intelligent and brutally honest.

Andrea obtained many degrees toward her passion, nursing. She was a nurse for over 30 years and more recently began teaching nursing at college. Andrea absolutely adored teaching her students and often spoke about work to her friends and family.

The off times Andrea was not working or spending time with her family, she was out on a spring fed river paddle boarding while jamming to some music.

When it came to family, Andrea was truly herself, Captain Chaos, as they would say. Andrea had her family on their toes, but they were always cheering her on. Whether it be a purchase of a new house or her generosity for others gone wild; Andrea never ceased to surprise her family.

Despite her spunky personality, Andrea was deeply loved and appreciated as a mother, sister, daughter, and grandmother.
