Carmen Maria Rodriguez

Born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, Carmen was the daughter of Monserrate Rodriguez and Fundadora Vargas Rodriguez. At the age of 5, along with her parents and 8 siblings they relocated and settled in Campbell, Ohio. She resided there with her first 3 children. In the late 1960’s she moved to Palm Beach County, Forida where she was blessed with 2 more children. There she lived for over the next 30 years. Then in 2001 she moved to Pasco County, Florida so that she could be closer to her family. She continued to live there until her passing. She was an active member in her Church, and she enjoyed singing in the choir. Most important to Carmen was that she was able to spend time and fill her life with her ever-growing family.

She was the mother of 6 children, Mercy Soto/ Miguel, Hector Rodriguez (pre-deceased)/ Leslie, Jose (Joey) Rodriguez (pre-deceased), Luis M. Valentin Jr. /Lynette, Christine Ornelas/ Jorge, John Valentin / Vicky. In addition she had 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her 2 sisters, Lucy Rivera & Sara Maguire.
