Cathy Elaine Stoll

March 25, 1955 – August 10, 2026

Cathy Elaine Stoll, 71, of Holiday, Florida, passed away on August 10, 2026, at AdventHealth North Pinellas in Tarpon Springs, Florida. She was born on March 25, 1955, in Athens, Ohio, to David “Gib” and Mary Sams.

Cathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She was so beautiful and had a heart that made room for everyone. To Cathy, nobody was ever a stranger. Her home was always open, warm, and inviting, and there was always room for one more at her table.

Cathy had a love for music and dancing, and especially loved singing with the band. A passionate dream of hers was to be on stage. She was incredible with words and even wrote some songs. She loved to go out and watch her grandson Quenten playing music and singing. She enjoyed crocheting, playing card games, watching game shows, and cooking shows. She was a master chef taught by Gordon Ramsay She also enjoyed sitting back and observing the neighborhood around her—a simple pleasure that brought her joy.

Above all else, Cathy loved her family. She cherished each of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and took great pride in watching her family grow. She leaves behind a beautiful family and countless memories that will be treasured for generations.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Scott Stoll of Holiday, Florida; Tommy and Amy DeHaven of Holiday, Florida; Mandy DeHaven of Marion, Ohio; Kristel and Todd Hurtt of Marion, Ohio; Ashley and Mike Veach of Marion, Ohio; Eli and Katie of Marion, Ohio; Scott and Meghan Stoll of Marion, Ohio; and Cassandra Stoll of Marion, Ohio; P. Jay and Kathy Stoll of Marion, Ohio. She leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, along with her beloved dog, Duke, and her bird, Bo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David “Gib” and Mary Sams; her sister, Kelly Sams; her first husband, Tom DeHaven; her brother-in-law, Rick Losey; and her son, Rusty Stoll.

Cathy leaves behind more than a family—she leaves behind a place in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Her laughter, her music, her love of family, and the welcoming spirit she carried wherever she went will never be forgotten.

Her door may no longer be open, but the love she gave so freely will remain with her family and friends forever.

She was loved deeply. She will be missed tremendously. And she will never be forgotten.
