With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of our cherished Christina Jean Smith, who left this world on May 15, 2025, at the age of 45. A vibrant and loving soul, she embraced life with a passion that inspired everyone around her.
As the eldest of three, Christina was a guiding light for her sisters, Hannah Smith and Shelby Alinsky. Her deep bond with her mother, who lovingly served as her caregiver since her car accident in 1993, was a beautiful testament to their resilience and unwavering support for one another. While her father has passed, his love continues to resonate in our hearts, guiding us as we navigate this profound loss.
A true lover of life, Christina found joy in the simple moments—whether she was belting out her favorite karaoke hits from her wheelchair, dancing with infectious enthusiasm, or cheering passionately for the Buccaneers on game day. Music was a significant part of her life, with a special love for the uplifting sounds of Kenny Chesney, whose heartwarming songs brought her immense joy. She also had great admiration for Luke Bryan and proudly claimed the title of the biggest fan of local artist JT Curtis, relishing every chance to enjoy their performances.
Sunflowers held a special place in her heart, symbolizing her bright and cheerful spirit. She loved their vibrant colors and the warmth they brought, much like her own presence. Additionally, Christina eagerly looked forward to the Gasparilla Parade in Tampa, fully embracing the lively celebration, camaraderie, and excitement it brought each year.
Her laughter was contagious, and her ability to bring people together was a gift. Christina had a unique way of making everyone feel valued and loved, creating cherished memories that will live on in our hearts. As we celebrate her life, we remember her warmth, kindness, and the joy she brought to every moment.
Though we mourn her passing, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at home with the Lord, free from pain and embracing eternal peace. We invite all who knew Christina to join us in celebrating her life and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind on June 29, 2025 at Fred Howard Park in Tarpon Springs Florida Pavilion #6 4pm till sunset.
