Christine Virginia Conner

Christine Virginia Conner, 61, of Tampa, Florida, went to the buffett in the sky on April 11, 2025.

She was born in Newark, Ohio, on July 18, 1963 to Donald Hatfield and Linda Sessor; grew up in Newark, continuing on to graduate in Detroit. Chris then trained to be a travel agent and enjoyed the profession until she relocated to Tampa and went into insurance sales. She was proud of and enjoyed her 34 years as an insurance sales team member at State Farm and Brown & Brown. She loved having loved ones together, spoiling her grandchildren, collecting recipes she would never make, her puzzle games, TV, and researching her family ancestry.

Chris is preceded in death by her mother (Linda Sessor), and survived by: her father and bonus mom (Donald and Paula Hatfield), Her husband (JR Conner), her daughter and son-in-law (Angela and Kenneth McLeod), her grandchildren (Lucas and Bailey McLeod), her siblings (Paul Horton, Barb Clark, Lora Hatfield, and Bryan Bending), many cousins, nieces, nephews, and an aunt, in addition to friends who became family (Teresa Payne and crew, Cindy Allen, and Garland and Joshua Moore.)

Funeral service will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church on April 30th at 4pm, with a small gathering at home afterward.
