Gary Woodring, 59, of Lutz, Florida, passed away on July 24, 2026.

Born on April 23, 1967, Gary lived a life marked by resilience, kindness, and the meaningful relationships he built with those around him. He was known for his caring heart, his willingness to help others, and the lasting impression he left on family and friends. Gary had a lifelong passion for cars and was an avid Star Trek fan, finding joy in both the craftsmanship of automobiles and the adventures of exploring strange new worlds.

Gary will be remembered for the love he shared with those closest to him and for the memories that will continue to bring comfort to everyone who knew him. His presence, sense of humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Roger Kersten, and his brother-in-law, Joe Kersten. Gary is survived by his beloved wife, Denise Woodring; his son, James, and daughter-in-law, Amber Woodring; his daughter, Tiffany, and son-in-law, Steve Schneider; his mother-in-law, Regina Kersten; his sister-in-law, Lori, and her husband, James White; his beloved grandchildren, Kendall, Chance, Kaidan, and Nikolas; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will cherish his memory.

A celebration of Gary's life will be held at a later date. The family appreciates the thoughts, prayers, and support of all who have reached out during this difficult time.

Gary now embarks on his final voyage among the stars, leaving behind a crew of family and friends who will forever cherish the memories, laughter, and love he shared.
