Obituary

Londa Sue Sproat, 66, passed away in Port Richey, Florida. Londa was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Paul and Darla Cox on February 12, 1960. The majority of her life was spent in Fort Wayne where she graduated from Elmhurst High School and worked as a secretary for the Allen County Sheriff’s Department Narcotic Taskforce. She enjoyed spoiling her “fur girl” Gracie and couldn’t pass up a good estate sale or thrift store.

She is survived by her husband, Scott, of Port Richey; Daughter, Amanda (Eric) Copeland, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Son, Nicholas (Brittni) Holmes, of New Haven, Indiana; Grandchildren, Alexys (Khorey) Egbert and Layne Copeland, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Josie Holmes and Brody Holmes of Churubusco, Indiana, Ryker Krauter, Ellce Krauter and Knox Krauter of New Haven, Indiana; Two Sisters; Brenda (Greg) Rietdorf of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Kathy Rosenfeld of Van Buren, Indiana and her special “fur Girl”, Gracie. She was preceded in death by her Father, Paul Cox, Mother, Darla “Jeanne” Kump and Stepfather, Kerry Kump.

Memorial Service to be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 3:00pm at Christ Community Church, 6235 N County Road 650 E, Churubusco, IN 46723. The family extends an invitation to all to join them immediately following the service for fellowship and food at Blue Lake Association Community Center, 7490 E 550 N,, Churubusco, IN 46723.
