“Marilyn Piekarski was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and vibrant spirit touched everyone who knew her.

Marilyn cherished the simple joys in life. She found happiness in time spent with family, in heartfelt conversations, and in the laughter shared around a meal. She had a playful spirit and enjoyed placing a bet on sports, playing bingo, and visiting the casino — always embracing the fun and excitement of the moment.

Creative at heart, Marilyn loved arts and crafts and was always making something special for her friends and family. Whether it was a handmade gift or a thoughtful keepsake, she expressed her love through the beauty she created. In her younger years, she was a beautiful singer and the leader ringer of recording group ‘The Juveniles’ — a reflection of the joy and talent she carried throughout her life. Above all, Marilyn was devoted to her family. Her love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was unwavering, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her son, Robert Citelli and his wife, Jaymie; her daughter, Michelle Durant Hunt; her grandchildren, Nicole Citelli, Maria Citelli, Michelle Lee Braun, Candice Roxanne Hunt, Joseph Henry Hunt, and Evelyn Marciele Porter; and her great-grandchildren, Brody Jenson Hunt, Brooklyn Jade Hunt, Scarlett Rogue Harrod, Madelyn Joy Hunt, Santana, and Arabella. She is also survived by her extended family who will miss her dearly.

Marilyn will be remembered for her loving heart, her creativity, her joyful voice, and the deep devotion she had for her family. She will be greatly missed and forever held in our hearts.”
