Maureen Broughton, 77, of Cocoa, Florida, passed away on February 5, 2026. She was born on January 7, 1949 to Joseph and Dorothy Lando in Syracuse, New York. She moved to Daytona Beach, Florida in her early teens where she would meet her future husband and build a life together. Maureen and William Broughton were happily married on August 23, 1969. From then on, they moved to Cocoa, Florida and built a loving family together. They were the proud parents of Jeremy Broughton and Jessica Broughton.

She was a devoted mother, beloved wife, and cherished friend. She will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and unwavering love for her family. She touched the lives of many through her kindness, bright personality, and her remarkable ability to bring comfort and laughter to those around her.

Maureen was known for her quick wit, unique and often funny sayings, and her joyful, quirky spirit that made everyday moments feel special. She had a gift for making others feel valued, safe, and deeply loved. Even the simplest gestures, such as a phone call or voicemail, could bring comfort and happiness to those fortunate enough to know her.

She loved deeply and wholeheartedly, especially her family. Maureen was devoted to her beloved husband, William, and took great pride in her role as a mother. She treasured the simple moments spent with the people she loved most.

In recent years, Maureen faced health challenges, yet it never diminished the love, warmth, and spirit that defined her. She remained a source of love, strength, and inspiration to her family throughout her journey.

Maureen was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Broughton in 2021.

She is survived by her two loving children, Jessica Broughton and Jeremy Broughton, both of Cocoa, Florida, along with extended family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Maureen leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, laughter, and compassion. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
