Patricia Schmitter

September 12, 1941 – September 1, 2026

Patricia Schmitter, 84, passed away on September 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of the family and friends who meant so much to her throughout her life.

Patricia was a truly caring, generous, and giving person who loved her family deeply. Her heart was big enough not only for those related to her by blood, but also for the many friends she considered family. She had a special way of making the people around her feel loved, welcomed, and cared for.

She leaves behind her sister, Nancy Tyrus; her two daughters, Stefanie Schmitter and Stacy Sullivan; and her six beloved grandchildren, Candice Judson, Tyler Judson, Nicole “Theo” Webb, Krystal Sullivan, Jaimie Sullivan, and Patrick Sullivan. She also leaves behind her very special granddaughter at heart, Serenity, who held a treasured place in her heart.

Patricia was blessed with five amazing great-grandchildren, who brought tremendous joy and love into her life. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Theo, who was a faithful and cherished companion.

Patricia enjoyed the simple things that brought people together. She loved playing cards, especially spending time laughing and making memories over a game of Dirty Marbles. She was a seriously funny lady and loved by all. With her marble click. She loved playing her marbles. But more than anything, she treasured time spent with the people she loved.

Her family and friends will remember her for her kindness, generosity, loving heart, and the countless ways she showed how much she cared. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the love and memories she leaves behind will remain forever.

While her family grieves the loss of such an important part of their lives, they take comfort and solace in knowing that Patricia is now reunited with her beloved husband, Jon Schmitter. They can picture the two of them together again, watching over their family with love from above.

Patricia’s memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have been loved by her. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
