Scott Leonard Helfand, 57, of Spring Hill, passed away peacefully at the Hospice House on June 23, 2026. Born April 27th 1969, he was the beloved son of Barbara Helfand.

A devoted client of The Arc Nature Coast for the last 36 years. Scotty was known for his great nature, his love of bowling and his impeccable style of dance. He had a love for life and his family. He also never met a stranger.

Scotty is survived by his mother Barbara; brother Mike (wife Lauren; nieces, Alexis and Kendyl; nephew, Michael) He is preceded in death by his sister Sherry (husband Craig; nephew, Ryder).

Scotty will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held Monday July 13th 7pm at Fellowship Community Church, 11250 Spring Hill Dr. All are invited to celebrate Scotty’s life.
