Sheryl (Sherry) Ann Tirey entered eternal rest on February 1, 2026. Born on June 9, 1957, in Schenectady, New York, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Preston, and parents, Ida Marion Hughes and Harold Hughes. Sherry is survived by her nieces, Tracy Preston, Lorie Kalinkiewicz (Ray Kalinkiewicz), and Kelly Preston; great-nieces and nephews, Quinn Mallory , Wesley Kalinkiewicz, Trinity, Cameron, Aidan, and Hannah; uncle, Paul J Nielsen; and dear friend Debra Bontempt. Her motorcycle community affectionately knew her as Leggs. Sherry had a passion for music and the joy of riding with the wind in her hair. She loved her dogs dearly, treating them as her own children. Her tenure at Gulfcoast Medical's accounting office was particularly rewarding. Following her retirement, she resided at Jennifer Gardens Assisted Living until her passing. Sherry will be deeply missed. A private service was held by family.
