Steven Ray
Yoder
May 4, 1941 — Oct 13, 2026
Trinity
Heaven gained "11 pairs of Crocs" early on the morning of Oct 13, 2026. Our hearts are broken, but we know he is finally at peace, pain free and with his Savior, Jesus Christ. Though we might long for one more daily inspirational text, one more card game, one more holiday, one more kiss, or one more hug, there is a void in our lives. A missing piece in our family—as we look for him to walk around the corner, kick back in his recliner, laughing, reading his daily devotion, checking FB, watching Nascar/Fox News, monitoring passersby, and searching for the next candy bowl.
Steven R. Yoder, (85), was born on May 4, 1941. He grew up in Goshen, Indiana. He played High School football at Goshen High School, graduating class of 1959. He attended Ball State University, where he completed both a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, focused on speech and hearing therapy and a Master of Arts Degree in Deaf Education. While attending Ball State, he met his bride of nearly 63 years (November 30.) His career spanned teaching deaf education, selling insurance, banking, fundraising for non profits, and smuggling many Bibles into persecuted nations. He loved the Lord and sought to do His will.
MY LIFE PURPOSE "My life purpose is to worship Christ with my heart, to grow in Christ, to share Christ with others I encounter, to serve Christ through His church and my work, and to fulfill His Mission for His kingdom purposes!" ~ 1/29/05
